INCREASE HERBICIDE APPLICATION YIELD IN SUGARCANE

Pre-emergent herbicide application, monitoring of harvest and auto-steer guidance integrated  into the same system.Optimize operational times by performing two tasks in one single working pass.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CONCEPT

The conventional system of weed control in sugar cane is based on several post-emerging applications of products with low residuality, which is time and budget consuming due to the high cost of inputs such as herbicides and fuel. The Harvest & apply System allows you to immediately apply a pre-emergent herbicide with high residuality on the clean field surface before the sugarcane leaves from the harvester fall down, which retains the herbicide and humidity in the field.

FEATURES

  • Shows the spray coming from the application toolbar.
  • Rear barrier prevents air turbulence affecting an even application.
  • Superior barrier prevents the fall of panicle altering the application.

BENEFITS OF HARVEST & APPLY

  • Early application: pre-emergent.
  • Greater use Of machinery.
  • Early planning.
  • Longer control.

MAPS AND WORK LOG

The system generates georeferenced maps that allow you to have a detailed record of the operator’s work. WhiIe operating, it stores such data as date, starting and finishing working times, alarm location, speed, hectares, terrain elevation, applied and no-spray area. Our Agromaps Software generates reports and post-application maps of all registered variables, which enables you to visualize and analyze all these data, hence allowing for better decision-making.
